To further assist learning by joining theory with practice, an expert operating in a global business arena is invited to give a talk. Recent speakers were Alexia Petersen, international cross-cultural communication trainer and consultant from Aachen University, Germany and René Botzenhardt, Relationship Manager at the Swiss Investment Bank Vontobel AG. Ms. Petersen held a three-hour seminar on Bridges and Barriers. The Intercultural Challenges for Universities Today – A German Experience. Mr. Botzenhardt lectured on Der Euro und die Osterweiterung (The Euro and its Expansion Eastward) as part of a series of lectures on the Euro.
